Ridge hikes are incredible! They are filled with views, views, and more views. A ridge hike in Hawaii is unlike a hike anywhere else.

We offer five ridge hikes of differing lengths. The easiest one takes about 45 minutes to reach the end. The longest ones take about 90 minutes. All offer great views of many different parts of our special island and most cross through an assortment of exotic vegetation: Christmas berry, koa, ironwood forest, Norfolk pine, and guava, just to name a few.

We'll hike to the top, then spend as much time as you like at the summit, taking pictures, enjoying the magnificent views, and having a light snack (provided), before returning along the same path.

We took the 360° panoramic photo seen above on July 22nd, 2006. Use your mouse (click and drag) to pan all the way around the photo. Zoom in using your shift key. Zoom out with the apple key (Mac) or control key (PC).

These hikes are offered daily. Hotel pick-up time is between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m. Return times vary.
